The Second Chapter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Adriana in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to support single-parent families with the resources, community, and care they need to thrive.
We believe that the circumstances a family finds themselves in shouldn’t determine the support available to them. The Second Chapter exists to help close that gap — one family at a time.
As an early-stage organization, we are building the foundation of our programs and partnerships in Denver. More details on our initiatives will be shared as the work develops.
The Second Chapter was founded by Adriana, whose own upbringing in a single-parent household shaped a deep personal commitment to this community.

The Second Chapter is funded through two streams, both connected to Honey & Stitch. Every time a piece moves through our circular model, it carries the potential to do more than clothe one child.
Preloved shop proceeds
A portion of every sale from our preloved collection goes directly to The Second Chapter. When you shop preloved at Honey & Stitch, part of what you spend supports a family in Denver.
Donated clothing
Pieces returned through our circular program that can’t be relisted are donated directly to The Second Chapter — going to families who need them, rather than landfill.
Direct donations
We welcome direct donations to The Second Chapter. Every contribution goes toward building resources and community support for single-parent families in Denver.
