Getting started
The basics of how a Honey & Stitch membership works.
We're a membership for premium baby and toddler clothing. You hold six pieces at a time from The Rental Closet, picked by you for your child's current size. When they grow, swap up for free — and every piece comes back to us to be renewed for the next family.
Create a profile with your child's birthday (or due date), join the club, then pick their six pieces from The Rental Closet. The whole thing takes about a minute — start here.
No. Browse the whole Closet and see how it works without signing up. You only create a profile when you're ready to join.
Every box is packed by hand in Denver, Colorado, and ships anywhere in the continental US. Shipping is free both ways, always.
The clothes
What you will be dressing them in.
Premium pieces from independent makers — the church dress, the photo outfit, the jeans you'd hesitate to buy at full price. Sizes run newborn through 2T, and the retail value is shown on every piece.
A short, careful list of labels we'd dress our own in — Jamie Kay, Wilson + Frenchy, Quincy Mae, Nature Baby, Colored Organics, Angel Dear, and Henry Drew, among others. All chosen to be worn hard and often.
Yes — that's the whole point. You pick all six yourself from the Closet, and nothing ships that you didn't choose. Swap them out as they grow.
ReStitched pieces have been worn before. They come back through The Loop, get cleaned, checked over and renewed by hand, then sell at a gentler price. Every one is one-of-one.
Sizing & swaps
Keeping the wardrobe fitting as they grow.
You pick the sizes yourself when you choose your six. And if anything arrives snug, swap it up free — no waiting, no charge.
Whenever they grow, request the next size from your account. Send the outgrown pieces back in the prepaid bag and the new size ships out — free, as often as they grow. There's no fixed schedule; you move when they do.
Size-up swaps are always free. Want a fresh set before they've grown? A full six-piece exchange is $25, with shipping covered both ways.
Yes. Pop in the due date when you create a profile and start with newborn sizes, then swap up as they arrive and grow.
Cleaning & care
Hygiene, stains, and the everyday reality of little ones.
Always. Every returned piece is professionally cleaned, then inspected by hand before it goes to another family. Anything that doesn't pass is retired from the Closet — never re-sent. It doesn't go to waste either; retired pieces go on to families through a nonprofit partner.
Everyday messes — blowouts, spaghetti, grass stains — are always covered. No fees, no stress; living in the clothes is the whole point.
If something is genuinely ruined, tell us what happened and send it back anyway — the first one every six months is on us, and after that the most you'd ever pay is our wholesale cost, never retail. Everything comes home, even the pieces that didn't make it; a piece that stays out is still holding one of your six.
Never. Pop everything into the prepaid bag as-is and ship it. The cleaning is our job — that's part of the membership.
Excellent or good — the only two grades we keep in rotation. Every piece is graded by hand between families; anything below that line leaves the Closet and goes on to a family who needs it, through a nonprofit partner. Nothing is thrown away.
Billing & membership
Pricing, pauses, and keeping the pieces you love.
$59 a month for six pieces at a time, or $150 for three months ($50 a month). Shipping is free both ways and there are no deposits. Want more than six? Extra pieces are $12 a month each, up to two.
Anytime, from your account, with no fees either way. To pause, send your pieces back in the prepaid bag — the pause starts the moment we scan your return, and billing stops right then. Running behind? Email us and we'll work it out.
Keep it. Buy any piece you're holding at your member price — 35% off its retail value — and each month it stays with you counts toward owning it. Once it's paid off, it's simply yours.
Daycare, grandma's house, the bottom of the diaper bag — it happens. We'll email you first and give you ten days to hunt for it before anything is charged. If it's truly gone, the most you'd ever pay is our wholesale cost, never retail. Never more, and never without warning.
Yes — up to two more at $12 each a month, on top of your six. They ship and come back with the rest of your rotation.
No. Anything in the Closet can be bought outright, membership or not. Members just pay less — 35% off retail.
Returns & The Loop
How pieces come back and get a second life.
The Loop is our circular engine: you borrow, they wear, you send pieces back; we clean and renew each one by hand; and it dresses the next family, becomes a one-of-one ReStitched piece, or goes on through a nonprofit partner. Nothing is thrown away. See how The Loop works.
One prepaid bag. No washing, no sorting, no printing labels — pop everything in and ship it. Too busy for the post office? We'll send a link to have the bag picked up from your door.
Yes — send eligible owned pieces back through The Loop and earn store credit toward their next stage. Good clothes stay in circulation, and you get value back for keeping them there.
